Looks like Wednesday's gonna be another really bad day for me this semester. In fact, my schedule this semester looks almost exactly the same as that of last semester... weird.

The mess is cleared up as of now. Thanks everyone for your concern!

In other news, I went to Prospect Park today out of curiosity and an urge to find some nature. It was beautiful. I could see the whole city from there, and hear the birds singing and feel the wind on my face. I breathed in the brisk, fresh air and I felt... relieved. I can't believe that I've been here for one and a half years and did not discover that place until now. There were squirrels there: two pairs, and they chattered and chased each other and leapt from tree to tree, as if they hadn't a care in the world. Even the walk to and from the park was wonderful--all the colorful houses with private, quiet doors and a restful home-ness emanating from the odds and ends placed in the windows. It made me feel like I really belong here in this city, that I live in Providence with all its joys and quiet domesticity, and not just Brown. It refreshed me and gave me the strength to go on.
